RTM™ – Reverse Translational Medicine

Reverse Translational Medicine (RTM™) describes Neurimmune’s approach to understand and learn from populations of humans who share a certain unusual capability to successfully fight a severe disease. In cases of such success being based on antibody responses, Neurimmune identifies genes of antibody candidates which later on need to prove their efficiency in vitro or in vivo model systems. For example Neurimmune has identified antibodies as candidates for therapeutic Alzheimer drugs which are capable of lowering pathological amyloid plaques in model systems for Alzheimer’s disease.
